Tom and I finally made it back to Okinawa on January 15th - He was happy to get back to work and I was just excited to be done with traveling for a little while. We are adjusting well to life as a married couple...living on the other side of the world far from everyone we know. Tom has been working early mornings and late nights to get everything done - he is such a hard worker! I am still waiting to get started on studying for my boards since we had to send a box of books and folders from Florida. I have to say I am crushed that I have nothing to do but cook, bake, and watch TV all day - I needed a few weeks to just relax.

This weekend we are hoping to check out the Cherry Blossom Festival in the northern part of the island. I have seen pictures on other websites and they are beautiful, so as long as the weather cooperates (not likely - it rains A LOT here) I will post more pictures!
